The logo of the Liga Nacional Puertorriqueña: a big sky-blue circle, bordered in red and white, surrounding a smaller circle of darker blue with white borders, superimposed on which is a red-and-white nautical star that hosts the acronym "LNP" in black block letters.

150 years of the best baseball in the universe—all in one place.

The logo of the Murciélagos de Camuy: a teal "C" in athletic block type bordered in black, on a purple circle, bordered in black-teal-black.

Murciélagos de Camuy

As plenty of schoolchildren and even more tourists learn, Camuy’s most famous feature is a surprisingly extensive network of caverns, much of which remains unmapped even now, long after the Republic’s forces temporarily used it as a hiding place.

Mascot: Nocturnovio

(nocturno “nocturnal” + novio “boyfriend”)

Nocturnovio, the mascot of the Murciélagos de Camuy, is what pick-up artists would want to look like as werebats. It's gray and stubby-limbed, with a purple tuft of hair between its turquoise ears, and big turquoise wings and collarlike neck that complement its rather spherical purple body. Can you resist the romance?
