The logo of the Liga Nacional Puertorriqueña: a big sky-blue circle, bordered in red and white, surrounding a smaller circle of darker blue with white borders, superimposed on which is a red-and-white nautical star that hosts the acronym "LNP" in black block letters.

150 years of the best baseball in the universe—all in one place.

The logo of the Palomas de Cidra: a dark brown "C" in copperplate font, bordered in white, on a red circle gridded with dark red, bordered in coffee-white-coffee.

Palomas de Cidra

Almost certainly, the people of Cidra would have preferred a more fearsome name for their baseball team, but a town principally known for citron cultivation, colorful year-round flora, and the local avian life did not have much in the way of choice.

Mascot: Aversátil

(ave “bird” + versátil “versatile”)

Aversátil, the mascot of the Palomas de Cidra, is a brown pigeon with a come-hither look, a white belly and red wings decorated with dark red flamboyán flowers, with golden centers, as well as red talons and beak.
