It was, of course, in the town of Rincón that the first (and most infamously dubious) explosives arrived from overseas during the war. That was only the first of their many contributions to the modern future of the Republic.

Mascot: Tandatómica

(tanda “group” + atómica “atomic”)

Tandatómica, the mascot of the Ingenieros de Rincón, is an orbital model of a lithium atom: a nucleus of white protons that are a little worried, some saucy red neutrons, and green orbits holding black electrons, most of which seem pretty happy. Why do they look so happy? Because they’re about to smash!
